VETERINARY CLINIC ASSISTANT

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team!

The Veterinary Assistant supports veterinarians and the team in providing high-quality care to animals. This role involves assisting with medical procedures, handling animals safely, maintaining clinic and hospital hygiene, and ensuring excellent client service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians during exams and treatments
• Handle and restrain animals safely
• Prepare and clean exam/surgery areas
• Support with medications, samples, and patient monitoring
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain accurate medical records and update client files
• Perform general clinic duties such as cleaning, stocking supplies, and laundry
• Administer medications and treatments under supervision
• Provide compassionate care and client service

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Agriculture or Veterinary Science
• Experience in veterinary/animal care preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Love for animals and willingness to learn
