Auto-Mechanic Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Auto-Motive Team Lead to oversee the maintenance and repairs of forklifts, pallet riders, and other material handling equipment. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven leadership abilities to ensure the efficient operation, safety, and reliability of the fleet and mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of heavy-duty auto mechanics and technicians.
• Plan, assign, and monitor daily maintenance and repair activities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are executed efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Prepare maintenance reports and maintain accurate service records.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
• Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Automotive Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy-duty vehicle and equipment maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Technical Expertise: Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in heavy-duty automotive and equipment maintenance including forklifts ad pallet riders.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, develop, and manage a maintenance team while fostering accountability and high performance.
